Recycle Fabric, Clothing Into Rugs, Easy Kids Craft

My son just shared a stat that makes me sick: suburban dwellers leave a 30 percent larger carbon footprint that urban dwellers. Why? Because we buy so much we don't need for our huge homes and yards. Then we throw it away. And we drive our Denali to transport one child to school.

We have so many possessions in developed nations that we have to dig holes in the ground to bury them when we don't need them. I mean take clothing. People in underdeveloped nations don't have to keep warm or to protect from the sun. And here, we're throwing clothes away. So instead of just ranting, I'll share an easy kid friendly craft using old clothes   Recycle Clothing, Linens, Bedding into Rugs, Easy Enough for Kids
